Policies and Waiver

Participant Waiver

All guests must read and sign the participant release and assumption of risk agreement before climbing. Each guest signs their own waiver online before the trip. Signed waivers are kept on file for at least 3 years.

Guests under 18 must have the waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Guests who have not signed the waiver cannot climb.

Cancellations and Refunds

• A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at booking. The balance is due 10 days before your trip.
• Cancel 5 or more days before your trip for a 75% refund.
• Cancellations less than 5 days before your trip are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling within 5 days of your trip has a $100 guide scheduling fee.
• If we cancel for weather or route conditions, you get full credit toward a future trip.

Trip Rules

• No alcohol or drugs before or during the trip.
• Guests must follow guide instructions at all times. The guide may end a trip for any guest whose safety is at risk.
• All Ashley Gorge Via Ferrata rules set by Uintah County apply.
